Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was elimated on Monday night’s episode of ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ on ABC.
President Trump had urged supporters to vote for Spicer, but a combination of low fan votes and low scores from the judges ended his time in the competition.
Following his loss, President Trump tweeted that it was a “great try” and that “we are all proud of you!”

For his final performance, Spicer did a foxtrot to “Bills, Bills, Bills” by Destiny’s Child with his partner Jenna Johnson — which scored them a 26 out of 40 from the judges.
Earlier in the day, President Trump had tweeted “vote for Sean” and that “He is a great and very loyal guy who is working very hard,” but deleted the tweets after the show aired.
The Hill reports that last week, Judge Len Goodman “told Spicer that he and the other judges, who consistently gave Spicer low scores, ‘keep throwing you out of the boat, and the viewers keep throwing a lifeline.’”
