For a person running a presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton sure does not have a full calendar. In fact, as pointed out by PJ-Comix at Free Republic, until October 23, the Hilldebeast has exactly four events scheduled: two debates and two fundraisers. The rest of the events on her campaign calendar will be handled by her consort, former President Bill Clinton, her daughter Chelsea, Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Kaine, and various other surrogates including Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Russ Feingold. Even Texas Congresscritter Sheila Jackson Lee is going to take a turn.
Why this is happening is completely a matter of conjecture:
- Does the woman have brain damage from the fall in 2012 so severe that she needs every waking moment to memorize debate question answers?
- Is her health so precarious that she is spending as much time as she can resting so that she at least APPEARS human and alive at the debates?
- Or…is the campaign hiding her because they know her numbers take a nosedive any time she fills camera space for more than twenty minutes?
If the Clinton camp is seriously trying to make their candidate appear to be fit and ready for the rigors of the presidency, limiting her public schedule is not the way to do it. Yes, it is true that Donald Trump, the Energizer Bunny of politics in 2016, makes the rest of us tired just watching him. But, there is no doubt that at least part of his success is due to the daily rallies, and speeches he is making to packed auditoriums.
In contrast, as has been publicized over and over, Hillary Clinton cannot fill rooms that barely seat a thousand people.
So, where is Hillary? The theories abound in all sorts of ways, not the least of which will be a narrative that she needs to rest after having pneumonia. (Yes, she does, if that diagnosis was real let alone believable.) But the reality remains: SHE IS NOT ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL.
Donald Trump is.
