Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani gave a heartfelt presentation at the Republican National Convention addressing, among other things, the theme of the evening, the need to make America safe again. He recognized the domestic terrorism being waged against American police officers. He offers a powerful rebuttal to the race-baiters who target police physically and verbally, noting how officers of every description don’t ask bigoted questions about who they’re going to help when they answer the call, the just respond.
He said it’s time to reunify this country, asking, “What happened to there’s no black America, there’s no white America; there is just America?” He reminds the audience of his success in ridding New York City of crime, saying Donald Trump will do the same for America.
Giuliani points to his long friendship with Trump of thirty years and his great accomplishments. He tells some secrets that he swore not to about the candidate, calling him a man with a big heart. He said, “Every time New York suffered a tragedy, Donald Trump was there to help and asked to be allowed to do so anonymously. Giuliani says, “Well, I am going to break my promise to him. I am going to mention it. This is a man with a big heart who loves people, all people. From the top to the bottom, from the middle to the side.”
Giuliani says, “I am telling you this because I am sick and tired of the defamation of Donald Trump by the media and by the Clinton campaign. I am sick and tired of it. This is a good man. And America should be sick and tired of their vicious, nasty campaign. You deserve to know this about your next president.”
Giuliani tells the audience of his friend of thirty years, Donald Trump, “This is a very good and decent man and he will be a great president.” Giuliani’s just getting started.
