NY Just Let ILLEGALS Do Something In Hospitals That You Won’t Believe!

New York is known for its leftist, liberal ideas. Granting rights to illegals is pretty high up on the list. On Tuesday, state lawmakers did that in a big way.

Never mind the fact that these people have broke the law in coming here. Never mind that they continue to break it every single day by not going through the proper process to gain citizenship. Let’s reward them. Let’s give them legislative protection.

Better, yet, let’s get the state’s licensing board to allow them to teach and practice medicine while they remain here against the law.

It may sound like an exaggeration, but that is exactly what happened. The state decided that these poor, under privileged individuals were being slighted by not having equal access to medical careers.

The new opportunities for these illegals  are being provided under the umbrella of a policy called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It focuses on people brought to the United States before the age of 16. Not shockingly, the DACA policy was put into place by Obama. It was enacted in 2012.

Does the government really expect us to believe that people smart enough to get medical degrees were not intelligent enough to figure out how to apply for citizenship? Were they too busy cramming for finals at med school to get their paperwork for legal status in order?  Surely the citizenship test can not be harder to pass than the state boards.

Medical practice is governed by an extremely stringent sets of regulations. Given that this group defies our country’s laws on a daily basis, why would those regulations be any more important to them? Clearly, only laws that suit them are to be followed. Any that require too much effort or time are simply to be ignored in favor of what they feel is best for them.

I don’t know about you, but I want a physician who is going to do what’s best for their patients. I want a physician who respects the regulations, since those rules are there for my health and safety.  I want a physician smart enough to pass a test that an average of 700,000 people a year are able to succeed on.

It is disgusting to me that our president will punish citizens for not having medical insurance, but let illegals practice and teach medicine. The idea makes me a a little nauseous. I’m glad I don’t  have to get that symptom treated in New York.
