In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Rob Reiner proved that once you’re a meathead, the odds against pulling your head out of its dark, damp comfortable zone are pretty remote. He’s a lifelong liberal meathead, another of the countless accurate observations Carroll O’Connor made in his portrayal of Archie Bunker.
During the interview Reiner was asked about Donald Trump and the election with some of his responses particularly nasty and offensive. He was asked if Archie Bunker, the character from All in the Family played by O’Connor, would be a Trump supporter. His response is typical of the Hollywood liberal trash, saying, ” Absolutely, 100 percent. Trump is from Queens. Archie is born and raised in Queens. They have the same kind of mentality. Archie was a bigot, and the things that come out of Trump’s mouth are totally bigoted. So yeah, he definitely would be. That would be some good arguments we’d being having.”
He was asked, “How do you reach out to that Archie voter — or do you think he’s unreachable?” Reiner replied, ” I think you can reach certain Trump supporters. But Trump said something very prescient in the beginning of his campaign when he said, “I could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and I wouldn’t lose any votes.” And to a degree, that’s true. Look at the demographics: It’s mostly white males who don’t have college degrees. And, you know, that’s Archie.”
Reiner continued, “Then there’s also a very serious strain of racism that runs through his followers. And that’s a kind of disturbing thing, and I don’t think you ever reach those people. I think that they’re impossible to turn around. It’s very disturbing because a lot of these racist ideas have kind of been dormant for a while, and he’s given voice to them — he’s kind of unearthed it. And the thing that’s most disturbing is to discover that there’s so many people that still hold those views.”
The know-it-all liberal added, “If it isn’t overt racism, it’s this kind of a desperate attempt at holding on to some version of America that they think was there once. They’re really threatened by our diversity, and what’s so great about the experiment of democracy is that it celebrates diversity and diversity is what makes it strong.” Of course that is not true, diversity is killing this nation. The cohesion that we once had is being eroded but by the time those responsible are held accountable it will be too late to prevent the destruction.
Illuminating the Obama anti-white, anti-black, anti-Hispanic, anti-Christian and anti-American globalist agenda, Reiner said, “If at some point America has no clear majority, where there’s such a mix of ethnicities and races and religions, and it can work as a democracy, that is the ultimate beacon to the rest of the world of how we should all live.”
That is the problem, it won’t work as a democracy, and by importing every random group that doesn’t have to assimilate, we’re losing our chance to work as a Republic. And it all thanks to Obama, Soros, this meathead, and others in Hollywood and elsewhere just like him.
He admitted to being a big Clinton supporter, calling her “incredibly dedicated and passionate about wanting to make things better and move things forward.” Forward, more big government code that’s above the heads of those “ignorant bigoted Trump people.”
He says the only thing that could spoil his dream of a Clinton victory is what he called “an Assange thing.” That’s liberal code as well. It means the truth about her corruption and treason could be exposed to such an extent that she’d be toast. We’re waiting and praying, Mr. Reiner. Yeah, it’s just another reason for you to hate “Trump rednecks,” we pray.
