Hillary Gets OWNED By Young Democrat!

Hillary Clinton just got served. Unfortunately, it wasn’t with an arrest warrant. It was, however, entertaining.

At Monday’s Democratic Town Hall in Iowa, Clinton took a question from a young application developer named Taylor Gipple. She probably wishes now that she hadn’t.

Gipple began by saying “It feels like there’s a lot of young people like myself who are very passionate supporters of Bernie Sanders, and I just don’t see the same enthusiasm from younger people for you.”

He concluded with “In fact, I’ve heard from quite a few people my age that they think you’re dishonest, but I’d like to hear from you on why you feel the enthusiasm isn’t there.”

Hillary’s answer? Well, we’re kind of still waiting for one. She responded, but she never really got around to answering the young man’s question. She did get around to being condescending to him, though.

Insult #1: his age- “When I worked on healthcare back in ’93 and ’94 – and I don’t know if you were born then, I can’t quite tell – but if you had been around and able to pay attention, I was trying to get us to universal healthcare coverage.”  She touted her 40 plus years of experience in politics.

Insult #2: his intelligence- “If you are new to politics and it’s the first time you’ve really paid attention, you go, ‘Oh my gosh, look at all of this’.”

Her version of an answer was closer to a defense. “I just keep going forward,” she stated. “They throw all this stuff at me, and I’m still standing.” Not sure what that had to do with enthusiasm, but apparently she felt that was the appropriate response.

You have to hand it to young Taylor Gipple. Not only did he manage to fluster a person who made it clear she has tons of experience in the political arena, he also managed to make even a Bernie Sanders supporter look good for a moment.
