It looks like George Soros and company will go to great lengths to get their way when it comes to immigration policy. According to the latest document to see daylight in the midst of the DCLeaks dump over the weekend, the Soros funded Open Society Foundation (OSF) actively worked to get U.S. vs. Texas, a case dealing with immigration and illegal executive orders, to be ruled their way. (Since Justice Scalia was dead by the time a ruling was made, the case ended in a tie, and essentially Texas won.) The executive order in question legalized millions of illegals and yielded work permits for them.
Using a group called Emma Lazarus II investments, the OSF handed out grants to people willing to write amicus briefs imploring the United States Supreme Court to rule their way. This is a screen shot of the vital paragraph courtesy of The Daily Caller.
Because of the multi-layered American system of checks and balances – in this case, states check against illegal overreach from the executive branch – this Emma Lazarus group is reporting that the field in the United States is “volatile,” especially during the 2016 presidential campaign season. (Something that was stirred up by one Donald Trump.)
This particular document is actually a memo/report to the Board of OSF outlining issues and initiative reports that were not on the agenda at a meeting of some sort. The larger document is 75 pages long, and this one section is dedicated to the immigration issue coming from the Islamic world.
“We are also seeking to shore up state and local infrastructure through Emma Lazarus II investments, positioning the field to move swiftly on a large-scale implementation effort in the event of a favorable ruling—efforts complicated by lagging implementation capacity at the federal level.”
Which, incidentally, did not happen. If Soros had no problem trying to con the Supreme Court on this topic, what else is OSF looking to accomplish at that level?
A quick internet search for Emma Lazarus II investments was not fruitful. It will require some digging to determine just how involved this group is with George Soros and the one-worlders. However, when one considers that Emma Lazarus herself is best known for her 1883 poem “The New Colossus” the name of the organization makes sense. Does this sound familiar?
The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
