When panel members on MSNBC’s Morning Joe say things like, “If a Republican did this, the world would come to a halt,” as Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin did today, you know even they cannot defend Hillary Clinton’s latest faux pas. She said:
“Now, extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups, we expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world, but it’s a little hard to take from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States,” Clinton said at a speech in Cleveland. “Yet they espouse out of date, out of touch policies. They are dead wrong for 21st century America. We are going forward, we are not going back.”
So, what did Joe Scarborough have to say about that?
“It was disgusting. It was absolutely disgusting,” Scarborough said. “Hillary Clinton saying that somebody who is pro-life– I mean, let’s tell the truth; she wanted us to talk about this. She wanted to throw a bright shiny object out there, so they don’t talk about the email scandal.”
“And so she has to be so hyperbolic and insulting and quite frankly just — it’s gutter politics at its worst to compare people to radical terrorists that cut off people’s heads and blow up grandmoms,” he said.
“It’s not all right. And we’ve seen by reporting what these terrorists do to young girls, the sexual slavery is absolutely appalling. And what Hillary Clinton did is compare somebody who is pro-life — which is close to 50% of Americans — to radical terrorists.”
Scarborough slammed the “sick radicalism” that is now “infecting” the Democratic Party. “If you’re Barack Obama, you compare Chuck Schumer to people shouting ‘Death to America’ in Iran? And if you’re Hillary Clinton, you compare pro-life Democrats and Republicans to ISIS? What happened here yesterday? This is so over the top.”

It may be over the top, but over the years, the Clintons have proven that they will skip the mattresses and go straight to the gutter when it comes to going to war, and the hyperbole gets worse the farther into the corner any of them are pushed. In the 2016 election cycle, Hillary is now backed so far into the crevice of lies and deceit, that she’s bearing her teeth like she has nothing to lose. Because with the news this week on the being though of as a liar front, and all of the email revelations, she has everything to lose.
Good thing orange is so her color.
