In a week of “you’ve got to be effing kidding me” moments from the Obama Administration, this one may well take the cake. Â It seems that the FBI Director – the guy who directs the American agency that spies on her people – was not invited. Â Listen to Josh Earnest try to justify the move to ABC’s John Karl.
So, since Eric Holder, the OUTGOING Attorney General was going to be there, there was no need to invite the guy who is in charge of gathering intelligence on potential violent extremists inside the country.  Oh, yeah, that makes sense.  And then there was the matter of inviting his counterparts from other countries, but the administration didn’t want the “Summit on Violent Extremism” to be “overly focused on law enforcement tactics.”  Nah, they just wanted to showcase the community organizing talking points that debuted with Marie Harf’s laughable diatribe on MSNBC about poor muslims needing jobs which is why they are running off to join ISIS.
Does put Keith Ellison’s comments from the conference in context, though.  Never mind the DHS reports that indicate something’s brewing.  We’ll just leave out the people who should be doing all the investigating on it.
