[Watch] Dem Rep. Ellison On Stopping ‘Extremism’ – Less Surveillance And More Harf-esque Idiocy

With news of actual atrocities, and War in Terror episodes dominating the airwaves and cyberspace and ISIS related barbarism happening, the Obama Administration’s summit to battle extremism got lost in the shuffle.  At least until Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), a muslim, got up on the stage and delivered a speech that echoes Marie Harf’s idiocy from the other night that even Chris Matthews of MSNBC found impossible to swallow.  Here it is.  (Do you hear the guilt trip????)

NEW TALKING POINTS ALERT! The litany of “we should be nice to these people” coming from both Harf and Ellison is, as Chris Matthews rightly points out, straight out of the 60’s play book.  In case the armchair liberals are not keeping score, that didn’t turn out well for the United States.

What is terrifying coming from a muslim sitting in the House of Representatives are the notions that we should consider not using surveillance in law enforcement separate from outreach.  What?  Ellison wants Americans to stop being so American and accept Islam with open arms into the melting pot even if they show no effort to assimilate.  His speech is clever and uses guilt to try to get people with a conscience to see things his way, but still is unAmerican to the core.  Islam’s social system is not compatible with western civilization.  Doesn’t matter how much economic opportunity is handed to them.
