[Watch] Bloomberg Portrays Gun Rights Coloradans as Dirt-Road Hicks

These two news anchors have a couple of words of wisdom for former New York City mayor and prominent gun-grabbing financier Michael Bloomberg.

Bloomberg was asked in a Rolling Stone interview to comment on the recall of former Colorado lawmakers which came about as a result of their support of gun restrictions which Bloomberg had played a financial and political role in getting passed.

Bloomberg’s response was offensively dismissive, saying, “The NRA went after two or three state Senators in a part of Colorado where I don’t think there’s roads. It’s as far rural as you can get. And, yes, they lost recall elections.”

The anchors informed the intrusive male nanny from New York on-air that the recalls took place in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, with Colorado Springs being the second largest city in the state and Pueblo the seventh.

The anchors assure the New Yorker that they have plenty of paved roads.

Bringing the remarks into the center of the campaign for governor of Colorado, a response from Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez stated, “Michael Bloomberg’s infuriatingly ignorant remarks show how far removed he is from Colorado and how wrong John Hickenlooper was to let Bloomberg force his radical agenda on Colorado.”

It seems the former mayor may have stepped in something that he is now tracking across the Colorado political carpet.
