State Senator Refuses “To Eat With Tahmooressi’s Captors” Declines Luncheon Invitation

It’s traitorous to be hosting and honoring the president of Mexico at a time when he and his government are engaged in hostile acts against America, including an active role in the invasion of our country.

Many Americans seem willing to ignore the actions of the corrupt Mexican government and the corrupt Mexicans within that government, including their president. As Mexico and their cartel operatives transport an invading force from Central America and flood our nation with their own citizens, our gutless sellout politicians in the State of California respond with a luncheon honoring the leader of our enemy to the south.

The Mexican army provides armed protection for the cartels and regularly ventures onto American soil with impunity and without consequences. Their complicit American counterparts in the erroneously titled Department of Homeland Security are all too eager to fail in their half-hearted efforts of defending our nation.

Among the multitude of abuses inflicted upon us by our adversary to the south, one of the most offensive is their holding captive Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi, an American hero who made an innocent wrong turn that became his personal living nightmare.

He’s been held illegally in that corrupt country since the end of March, with no acknowledgment from the White House and no effort made to obtain his release. A petition on the White House website, which supposedly would have garnered a response within thirty days of reaching 100,000 signatures, has gone unanswered for months.

The White House and our cowardly community organizer-turned “president” don’t care what happens to American heroes. He represents illegal aliens, racist agitators, homosexuals and communists. It’s too bad Tahmooressi isn’t among the “special people” or he’d have been out long ago and none of us would have ever known his name.

America is still an economic super power and Mexico depends upon us to a great degree for their survival. Obama has the power to get him released if he only chose to use it. He simply doesn’t want to. Obama is Nieto’s Chihuahua, with his tail between his legs and only the weakest false pretense of defending Americans from the Mexicans.

Obama is not alone in ignoring our Marine. Most politicians are selling Tahmooressi and the American people out to Mexico, but there are a few notable exceptions. One of those is California State Senator Joel Anderson (R-Alpine).

Anderson declined an official invitation to a luncheon honoring Mexican President Pena Nieto. The reason is simple; prisoner Andrew Tahmooressi. Anderson said in a statement, “I do not have an appetite for foreign officials who deny U.S. citizens their basic human rights. I am concerned that our military would feel betrayed if it appeared we condoned the harsh and unfair treatment of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi.”

Former gubernatorial candidate Tim Donnelly, also a Republican, recently declined the same invitation.

If only we had a real president. The golfing and vacationing dictator that occupies the White House is temporarily free of the rigors of his daily golf schedule. Maybe he’ll take note of what a real man of the people does. He could follow the example set by Anderson of what it means to stand against injustice rather than being the source of it, what it means to be principled and to have honor and respect. Those are concepts as foreign to him as America itself, but perhaps he can be taught.
