The socialist community organizer and divider who occupies the White House gave a speech at a fundraiser in Minnesota on Thursday. He just couldn’t help but take a few swipes at his opposition who are dissatisfied with life under a de facto dictatorship.
Obama went on a bit of an offensive, charging that Republicans who object to his overreach and abuse of power had “nothing to offer except cynicism and fear and frustration.â€
Obama is partially correct. Those opposed to his abuse of power are cynical as it relates to America’s future, particularly over the next two and a half years, fearful of what this tyrant has in mind and frustrated by our inability to rein in his rouge regime.
He was incorrect in his assertion that that is all we have to offer.
Obama loves to use manipulate his audience through the use of human props. The latest unfortunate victim of life in America recruited for this event is named Rebekah Erler, a working mother who is said to have written to Obama detailing her financial struggle. Unless she was looking for a handout, she won’t get any relief from the Obama regime.
Obama declared that her letter moved him and proclaimed that she embodies the reason that he went into politics. He piled it on a little thicker, saying how he remembered struggling to figure out “how you lead a good life and raise your kids, not looking to get wildly wealthy… trying to make ends meet.â€
That was apparently before he decided upon a life of crime, personally opting for wildly wealthy over just making ends meet.
He went on to discuss his prop as if she were a specimen in biology class, saying, “That’s what we should be talking about every day in Washington. We talk about everything else.â€
He continued, “We talk about phony scandals. We talk about Benghazi, and we talk about polls and we talk about the tea party and we talk about the latest controversy… We don’t talk about her.â€
Of course, that could be because Rebekah is not a criminal who is destroying our country and she is not responsible for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi.  She isn’t supplying the nation with an endless supply of abuses of power or scandals which are only phony if you are trying to diminish their impact.
It is particularly insensitive to describe Benghazi as a phony scandal, when there are four families who have had important people ripped from their lives through his actions. It’s very real to them.
He made an endorsement to the donors, who forked over between $10,000 each and $32,400 per couple, of Nancy Pelosi, saying how much he would like to have control of the House return to Democrats. Obama said of Pelosi, “I love her because she smart. And she’s tough. And she’s fearless.â€
Obama stopped short of going all in and calling Pelosi an honest public servant or even to label her as coherent. As Speaker it was not uncommon for Pelosi to stop mid-sentence to get her bearings, apparently losing track of what was coming out of her mouth and what was supposed to come out next.
He reminisced that during his first two years of his regime, he and Pelosi, “got more done than any Congress since the 1960s.†Obama said, “I want her back.â€
That’s a horrifying prospect; America’s got enough of a mess on our hands cleaning up the damage these socialists have already created.
