Mark Levin interviews Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions and opens with the statement saying, “I think the entire immigration system is collapsing under the weight of this ‘president’s’ lawlessness. I think Eric Holder and the others in the Department of Homeland Security have sent out word, don’t deport. I see now they are changing the rules for asylum, domestic violence qualifies for asylum.†Levin asks, “We have a complete collapse of the system, don’t we?â€
Senator Sessions agrees, and feels that some of it is the result of a systematic plan, but that all of it undermines the ability of our law officers to do their duty.
Senator says this situation is stunning to him, that Obama is directing this lawlessness through his cabinet secretaries.
The good Senator makes some very good points regarding the stunning nature of the lawlessness of this regime and the action that is needed to rein in the abuse of power and save our republic.
Senator Sessions says we can still stop this amnesty, that there is one thing that the Democrats are afraid of and that is losing elections. He points out we have one just around the corner. He says he just doesn’t want people to give up and think that it’s hopeless.
Sessions and Levin agree that Eric Holder is the most political Attorney General in the history of our nation, and he is not meeting the standard of his office.
There are funding options available for addressing the sanctuary cities and states, but Senator Sessions feels that more than anything else, we need to have our representatives in Congress identify their positions, hold them to it, and make those on the wrong side of this issue pay for their transgressions.
