[Listen] Mark Levin on Obama’s Claim That Muslims Built “Very Fabric of Our Nation”

Ask any non-Muslim American what Eid ul-Fitr and you’ll almost unanimously get a response along the lines of “I don’t know, beats me,” or “why should I care.” It’s only nine letters and a hypen, but most couldn’t spell it either.

That is because it is a holiday which is not widely celebrated in the United States, part of a small but growing Muslim population which is a recent addition to the American landscape. Proclamations to the contrary don’t change the facts. If it were true that Muslims had, as B. Hussein Obama claims, been a critical factor in the construction of our nation, their holidays would also have been part of that fabric. The truth is that once again, Obama is peddling his own self-concocted version of the truth, independent of historical validation.

Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. Mark Levin takes on the following Obama statement:

“This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal and service to the less fortunate. While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan  it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict and disease.”

As Levin puts it, here’s the kicker, “In the United States Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our Democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths here at home and around the world to protect and advance their rights and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communites.”

Levin notes that the first Muslim American congressman was elected in 2007 and that B. Hussein Obama’s popularity is highest among Muslim Americans. He then proceeds to dismantle and expose the bias, hypocrisy and deceit in the blanket comments of the occupier of the White House. Obama is in the process of rewriting history and there is no question of who founded this country.
