First Amendment Outrage: White House Communications Office Demanding Pool Reporters Change Stories

We all knew that Valerie Jarrett and the gang in the White House Communications Office were paranoid about what information is put into the public about the Obama Regime, but what Bret Baier reported last evening that the gatekeepers are demanding of print reporters is simply unacceptable.

An independent and free press is necessary in a representative government situation so that the people who elect lawmakers can be fully informed regarding the people in office, even if they are not elected.  Any attempt to interfere with this mission and critical job by the very people who are the subject of the reporting without legitimate cause, say an embargo on a national security related story, is just not Kosher.  Especially for social functions, and casual conversation.  Behavior and comments at such affairs should be on the same level as what national security snoops tell us about remotely searching our computers: if you’re doing nothing wrong, you should have nothing to worry about.

As if we needed any more proof that this regime is not really American at heart, throwing a wet blanket over the White House Press Corps Pool is another sign that something is rotten at the White House.  We all may love to hate the media, but how else are we the people supposed to keep politicians in line?  That this was exposed in the Washington Post should tell us something about the suppression going on at the top.
