Speaking before the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) convention in New York City, the wife of the occupier of the White House made a solemn promise. Not a cavalier, half-hearted, fingers-crossed promise, like the oath of office her husband took to uphold the Constitution. This one is serious and will be kept, according to her/him/it.
Mooch said to the cheering partisans, “So make no mistake about it, we have to keep on fighting as hard as we can on immigration. And as my husband has said, he’s going to do whatever administrative action it takes to fix this broken system.â€
Whatever it takes, to fix the broken system? It’s only broken because the ample laws already in place are simply not being enforced. She’s not addressing that obvious shortfall. She simply means legalizing illegals.
That’s an odd topic for a group of Latin American Citizens. Their name indicates they are already legal in this country. Maybe they are Latin-American citizens, not United States citizens. Maybe they are a racist group, promoting their ethnicity. What is the wife of the “president†doing addressing a convention of illegals or racists? Either way, the message is wrong.
The Mooch assured those in attendance, whoever they are, that if Congress disagrees with her regime’s policies, they will act by decree.
She said, “We cannot afford to wait on Congress to lift up our next generation. We can’t afford to wait on anybody when it comes to our kids’ future. Your grandparents and parents didn’t wait for opportunities to come to them. No, they packed up their families and moved to this country for a better life.†Wrapping lawbreaking in nice, flowery “justifications†doesn’t make it something else.
She continued, “Back then, Latinos were being brutalized and killed by police and lynched by the KKK,†she said. “‘No Mexicans Allowed’ signs hung outside of restaurants and storefronts. Latinos often couldn’t own property or serve on a jury. And if you walked into a public building, you’d often see not two water fountains, but three — one white, one black, and one brown.†That’s back then, Mooch, things are different now. Quit trying to create a present day victim through a badly-worn blanket from the past.
She’s repeating the lie that it is acceptable for her and her husband to continue to expand the usurpation of power that began back in 2009. At some point they may find themselves rudely awakened by the reality of an American people who didn’t sign on to a dictatorship and are standing up to their tyranny.
Even those who were misguided enough to have supported their ascension to the throne in the beginning are being slapped into reality.
The broken system, Ms. Obama, is one that allows an unknown fraud to assume dictatorial power over the will of the people. Our lawless and illegal leadership is the problem. Our immigration system works fine when implemented properly.
The system in serious need of repair is the one being destroyed by her and her husband. It is in serious need of “fixing†and we the people are fully capable of doing just that. We lack only one component to beginning that process, an effective, America-first, Speaker of the House.
Mr. Gowdy, are you listening?
