This past Wednesday, the Chairman of the Democrat National Committee, the abortion-loving Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, paid a visit to one of the local employers in her south Florida district. She was accompanied by a Planned Parenthood representative and a handful of Sandra Fluke clones and sign-holders. The nature of the encounter at a newly opened Hobby Lobby franchise in Davie, was less than cordial.
She didn’t come in customary political fashion, with her arm extended and her palm up, seeking money in return for favors. She came instead to do as much damage to their business as she could. It seems the Congresswoman doesn’t represent everyone in her district, just those she agrees with.
Wasserman-Schultz said, “I want people to know that this Hobby Lobby is here and they should vote with their purses and their pocketbooks, and women should not shop here.â€
She made the same false claims that she, Nancy Pelosi and other lying Democrats were making in June when the Supreme Court ruling was issued. She said, “No boss should have the right to dictate an employee’s health decisions because [they] don’t belong in the bedrooms, doctor’s offices or pharmacies of their employees.â€
There’s no argument that someone’s boss doesn’t belong in their bedroom. Even if they are invited it’s generally not a good idea. But beyond that her claims aren’t factual. Then again, Democrats aren’t bound by the restrictions of the facts or honesty. They just lie.
Contraception was never an issue in this case and it still isn’t. The mandated provision of abortion pills and religious freedom were. Hobby Lobby won the right to not provide a coverage which was in violation of their religious beliefs. They still offer 16 forms of contraception.
The Supreme Court simply upheld their protections under the First Amendment of the Constitution, a document Schultz may want to learn more about at some point since she’s as a Congressman. Then again, as a Democrat, that familiarity will be of only limited value.
It is now clear that the socialist Democrats intend to personally pursue and continue an agenda of intimidation and harassment through the misrepresentation of the facts in the Hobby Lobby case. They are working to diminish the role and position of religion in American society and to elevate their own barbarism in the process.
There are good people in Florida, many of whom don’t subscribe to the lunatic left’s claims or anything goes “beliefs.†Those people, if they have a little spare time, should consider taking up a hobby. Today would be a good time to start. Just tell em Debbie sent you.
