Bowe Bergdahl Gets a Desk Job as Repatriation Phase of “Treatment” Begins

Bowe Bergdahl has come through his post-captivity treatment with flying colors and he’s back on the job. Just six weeks after he was traded for the Taliban leadership, he’s pushing paper at the Army North headquarters at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

He will also have a face to face meeting with Major General Kenneth R. Dahl, who is the officer investigating Bergdahl’s desertion charges.

Bergdahl’s transfer from the therapy phase to regular duty is described by the Army as part of his reintegration back into Army life. He will live in a barracks and have to minders to help him readjust.

Bergdahl has been being treated on an outpatient basis for the last three weeks. His debriefings have continued since his release.

Michigan Democrat Senator Carl Levin, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee released letters last week from each of the members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff supporting the repatriation of Bergdahl. It’s interesting there was no dissention.

Levin is not one to shy away from the application of political pressure, as he was instrumental in orchestrating the IRS abuse of conservative groups.

The unanimous agreement that a suspected deserter should be repatriated gives rise to suspicions that some face-saving on behalf of the regime is underway, and that some efforts in that regard may have been engaged in by Senator Levin.

Everything with the Obama regime is political in nature.
