lSlS Uses ACID To Execute Dozens
If you don’t know anything about it, here’s a brief lesson. Nitric acid is a highly corrosive substance used for explosives, fertilizers, etching steel, and reprocessing spent nuclear fuel. It can be colorless, yellow, or red and has an extremely pungent smell.
In addition to these uses, lSlS has found another for it: Execution.
According to reports, the terrorists recently executed 25 men by submerging them in a vat of the acid. The prisoners were tied together and lowered into the the fuming, deadly liquid. Their bodies were left inside the vat until their organs dissolved.
All the while, lSlS members sat by and watched.
An unnamed witness recounted the event to reporters. “lSlS members tied each person with a rope and lowered him in the tub, which contains nitric acid, till the victims organs dissolve.”
Charges of spying for the Iraqi government and collaborating with Iraqi special forces were brought against the men. Their deaths were meant to serve as a warning to all those present. They were also an attempt at a “morale boost” for the terrorist ranks. Recent battlefield losses have cost the group land and numbers.
The incident took place in Mosul, Iraq. It is the largest city in the country that is still under their control. The group has ramped up bombings in the area of late as another way to counteract those same losses.
This most recent incident with the acid is one of a long list of murder methods employed the terrorists. In the past they have utilized beheading, crucifixion, drowning, hanging, shooting, and burning alive to kill their prisoners. That they are getting increasingly gruesome in their tactics should come as a surprise to no one. Psychological warfare is their favorite weapon.
Perhaps, we have all been misjudging our President when he insists that lslam a “religion of peace.” It could be that what he has actually been saying is that it is a “religion of piece.” Then, he would be right since a piece of their victims is the most that is left behind when they are done with them.
