Jihadi John is GONE! GONE! GONE!
It’s official! The executioner has been executed. The Islamic terrorist, known as “Jihadi John,” made infamous in ISIS beheading videos, has been sent to meet his 72 virgins.
In the most recent issue of Dabiq, an ISIS propaganda magazine, the terror group admitted that “Jihadi John” had been killed.
Of course, the magazine’s site praised what they viewed as his accomplishments and his global impact. Happily, he won’t be accomplishing anything else.
Dabiq’s announcement comes as confirmation of the report released by the US in November. U.S. military spokesman, Col. Steve Warren, said that the Army was “reasonably certain” that Mohammed Emwazi (aka Jihadi John) was had been killed in a drone strike.
Another US official elaborated. He revealed that the vehicle believed to be transporting Emwazi to the ISIS capital of Raqqa was targeted by 2 American drones and 1 British drone. A Hellfire missile was launched by one of the US drones and destroyed the vehicle.
Beginning in August 2014, Emwazi appeared in 6 beheading videos and narrated several others. U.S. aid worker Peter Kassig, U.S. journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley, Japanese journalist Kenji Goto, and British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning were murdered by Emwazi on camera.
Former captives of the Islamic State described him as a “psychopath who enjoyed threatening his Western captives.”
“Jihadi John” was born in Kuwait, but raised and educated in England. His British accent was his identifier and what earned him his moniker. In the videos, he was frequently seen dressed in all black with his face (ever so bravely) covered and wielding a large knife.
Well, “John.” Looks like that big knife and bigger talk did you a lot of good when put up against the the power and might of the United States military. You were blown up in the hot desert by a Westerner remote-piloting a Predator drone from the comfort of an air-conditioned, multi-screen room.
