4 Year Old Child Thrown Off 27 Foot Bridge Into Water Filled With Boulders
It happened August 24 on the picturesque Wynoochee River in Montesano, located about 70 miles outside Seattle.
The boy dropped 27 feet into a river — where the water is eight feet deep and littered with boulders — as his mother looked on.
Witness Brianna Jones called the cops. She told Inside Edition: “I got mad because she [the mother] made it seem like it was all fun. As soon as she found out the cops were called she packed up her stuff.”
The man who committed the unthinkable act had met the boy’s mother for the first time that day.
A friend of the mother who wishes to remain anonymous claims that there was no ill intent here.
“This child is a daredevil and he asked his mom, he said: ‘Mommy, I want to jump. I want to jump off the bridge,’ and she at first was like: ‘I don’t think it’s a good idea. I don’t know if it’s safe,’” the friend said.
CPS is involved and the police are considering charging both the man and the mother with child endangerment.
