ISIS Among Us! Illinois National Guardsman Pleads Guilty in Islamic Terror Plot to Kill 100 People

This week, Obama made a pathetic attempt to convince Americans that he is tough on terrorism. If that were true, we wouldn’t have plots like this being exposed daily.

On Monday, a 23-year-old soldier in the Illinois National Guard, Hasan Edmonds, pleaded guilty in a terrorist plot to kill over 100 people.

Reports say Edmonds “began communicating online in January with an FBI agent pretending to be an Islamic State fighter in Libya.”

Edmonds admitted to giving the purported militant advice on “how to fight and defeat the US military,” the plea agreement said. Edmonds and his cousin Jonas say they were ready to conduct an attack in the United States. They began meeting with a undercover agent in March who pretended to help Edmonds plan a trip to Mosul, Iraq to join the Islamic State group.

The two Muslim men wanted the undercover agent to help him achieve a “body count” of 100 to 150 people.

Hasan Edmonds was charged with one count of conspiring to provide support to a foreign terrorist organization and one count of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.  He could face up to 30 years in prison if found guilty and the cousin faces up to 23 years in prison.

In March, cousins were arrested on suspicion of trying to join ISIS.   A video report of that can be seen below.
