IN A NUTSHELL: MOST of the GOP Candidates are pretty Pro 2ND Amendment friendly. The Worst ones are likely Trump, Chris Christie, and former Republican NY Governor, George Pataki who supports gun control legislation and has called for assault weapons ban. Without a doubt all modern democrats lean heavily socialist which is completely anti-2A. Surprisingly Bernie Sanders appears to be on record as more firearm friendly than even Killary (for whatever this is worth). Ben Carson’s position he stated on Glen Beck’s radio show in 2013 that you shouldn’t be able to own semi-automatic weapons in large cities has raised high caution with firearm owners that isn’t likely to regain 2A supporter’s trust with any ease. –American Godfather
