[Watch] Harvard Students Call America a Bigger Threat To World Peace Than ISIS

How can one use so many words to say so little…and be so wrong at the same time.

“American imperialism and our protection of oil interests in the Middle East are destabilizing the region and allowing groups like ISIS to gain power,” said one student.

“As a western civilization we’re to blame for a lot of the problems that we’re facing now,” one student said. “I don’t think anyone would argue that we didn’t create the problem of ISIS, ourselves.”

So, there we have it, students at one of the nation’s “elite” universities have taken all human condition logic out of the argument of why the United States should make any foreign policy decisions that might involve the military and/or protect our commercial interests in the Middle East.  After all, we effect the world more directly or something.

As much as that young lady’s education is costing her parents, I would hope the first word out of her mouth would not be ….”uh”.

  5. As a combat veteran, having served 2 tours, I defended their right to say such statements. But one problem with what they’re saying is that their comments seem a little far fetched, having never been to any active combat zone. They haven’t seen first hand what happens to those who stand up to extremists. To the families or their homes. I have. They’re only learning from one side of the spectrum. They need to open their narrow minds and look at all points of this given subject. There is always more than one side of the argument. And all I’m hearing is one side. Where is the other? That’s what I want to know. And given my FIRST HAND experience, ISIS is the bigger threat. Is America perfect? No. But we don’t go around threatening to blow up or kill entire families for simply not agreeing to bow down to just one religion, or one way of life. Do we spend sometimes an unnecessary amount of money? Absolutely. But when it comes to the freedom of our country, no price is to high. And I am willing to bet you that some students did comment that ISIS is the bigger threat, but they simply didn’t show their response. These Harvard students need to further their education on the subject before opening their mouths. Or sign up for active duty military and deploy to first hand what happens to those who stand up against ISIS. I am worries that these kids are the future of the nation. God help America. And God bless America.

Liberal-like responses from Harvard students. How not surprising.
