What started as a relaxing French Polynesian vacation, ended in a painful illness for Lindsey Lohan, 28. Lohan claims that she has contracted an untreatable, incurable virus. The virus is called Chikugunya. It is transmitted by mosquitos.
The most common symptoms of the virus are fever, rash, and joint pain. The fever typically lasts 2 to 7 days but, the joint pain can last days, months or even years.
