Australians bury heads in sand to mock government stance on Climate change.

Rational people visiting Australia’s Bondi beach all shook their heads in unison today as they saw 400 liberal demonstrators stick their heads in the sand. The reason was to mock the government’s reluctance to put climate change on the agenda of a G20 summit this weekend. The protesters complained that Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s failure to address climate change is all the more infuriating since an agreement was made Wednesday between the United States and China to limit their carbon emissions. Activist Pat Norman used his megaphone to shout, “Obama’s on board, Xi Jinping’s on board, everyone’s on board except one man,”

Tony Abbott!” the protesters shouted back.
Norman then gave the crowd permission to “Wiggle ya bums if you feel like it,”.
I mean, what better way is there to say, “I’m concerned about this planet’s future” than “wiggling ya bum”?
Justin Field, 36, a former army intelligence officer running for a seat in state parliament, said, “To be so far behind the rest of the developed world embarrasses progressive Australia,”
No Mr. Field, 400 grown adults eating sand, with their heads buried in the earth and their asses waving in the air, is what embarrasses progressive Australia.

Liberals are the only people allowed to be totally ridiculous asses on the “It’s political speech!” argument. Just make fun of them and ignore their silly stances.

Obama may be for it, but he is only one person. By far, the majority of American people are not at all behind the global warming/climate change/whatever movement!

Burying their heads in the sand says way too much to me about the demonstrators. Perhaps they should proceed to Antarctica and look for sand. The polar bears need a giggle.
